About Chris Eggleshaw

Chris Eggleshaw was born in Bulwell, Nottingham and, following a successful career spanning some forty years in commercial management, retired in 2020. Married to Joy, he has three children and ever-growing clan of grandchildren, currently numbering five.

Since retirement, he has found the time to fulfil a lifetime ambition and spends much of his time writing. A graduate in History and Commercial law his writings offer some intriguing perspectives on some of the great issues of the last century. He has completed two novels ‘Chance Meetings’ and ‘Gebhardt Hoffmann,’ the latter the first in a trilogy spanning the lives of a German immigrant family in the USA in the first half of the twentieth century. Over and above the two novels Chris has produced  several short stories soon to be available on kindle.
